i Flavor Aid is a non-carbonated soft drink beverage made by Jel Sert in West Chicago, Illinois, introduced in 1929.

Peoples Temple was a communist cult founded in 1955 by Jim Jones. It is best known for the “revolutionary mass suicide” of Jones’ followers in 1978 in Guyana, at the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project, informally called Jonestown. 914 persons committed suicide or were murdered by drinking or allegedly being forced to drink cyanide-laced grape Flavor Aid.
