Ana is graphic designer who made, for example, my monograph Riiko Sakkinen Image Club. She is also my collector and one of my biggest fans.

Ana just sent me a work made following my guidelines for the list drawings. Ana calls the method Favoritism - most of the lists are titled My Favorite something. I got the idea from the Russian journalist Artemy Troitsky who published in his blog frivolous lists of ugliest cars and things like that. Some of my lists are more serious.

HUO: What is your favorite sound?

RS: A newborn baby's first cry or anybody telling me how fantastic artist I am.

HUO: What is your favorite word?

RS: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even though the sound of it is something quite atrosicous! If you say it loud enough, you'll always sound precocious.

HUO: What irritates you more than anything in the world?

RS: Poverty.

HUO: What's the moment we are all waiting?

RS: It's stupid to think that we all would be waiting for the same moment. Most of the people are waiting for the bus to arrive and you are waiting in Golden Executive Club Airport Lounge sipping champagne.

HUO: What would have been your dream job?

RS: Chef or terrorist.

Yesterday Eeris served us for dinner raw reindeer heart and gave me the book Ai Weiwei speaks with Hans Ulrich Obrist. I got the questions from the book and made the star curator to speak with myself. One day I´ll be as big as Mr. Ai (but not so fat).

I've always wanted to be a dissident but it's difficult under the capitalist democracy regime. I wish I were a citizen of the People's Republic of China.

The list consists of dissidents arrested or vanished this year in the PRC.

I'm summering in Helsinki. It's a great escape from the Spanish heat - the temperature is here perfect to spend the days at the East Helsinki beaches. It's 100% beach, home and patio. We've been here one week and we haven't gone once to the city center.

Tomorrow, I have to interrupt the summering and work for a couple of hours. I hope that my family will forgive that. I'll attend the finissage of my secret solo show at Tuntemattomien kontti at Kalasatama. It's a secret because the name of the artist is not revealed before the last night of the each show in this exhibition series taking plcae in a container in the old fishing port now under development to luxury housing estates.

I'm showing my slide show of Chinese escort girls, this time on six monitors installed by Laura and Timo. The context of the container gives new strong meanings to the work - now it refers clearly to the human trafficking.

On Saturday, I turned 35. It's the international age limit for the grants and the residencies for young artists. So I'm not anymore young but it's fine. I feel fine. And I definitely don't feel young 15 years after my first show and being  now a father to two kids. On my birthday, we gave a reception at BLO, Talavera de la Reina, where I'm having a small show. I cabbed back home next morning after 6. I'm not sure if the mature people do that kind of things.

Now I'm packing for the vacation in Helsinki but I'm thinking about my next important destination - Damascus, Syria - to where I'm going to spend the whole September as artist-in-residence at the Finnish Cultural Institution. Kati wrote me that everything will be done as planned if the alert state doesn't get higher and the staff of institute is not evacuated. It will be my frst time in a place with ongoing crisis and my first time ever in the Middle East.
